Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance
A nonprofit organization formerly known as the National Tuberous Sclerosis Foundation, which was founded in 1974 by four mothers to provide fellowship, generate awareness, and provide hope to those who shared the common bond of TUBEROUS SCLEROSIS (TS). The group was reorganized and renamed the Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance in 2000. Today the group serves more than 20,000 constituents, including 11,000 family members and adults personally impacted by TS. The group is currently expanding its research agenda through its Center Without Walls (CWW) research program and offers a range of brochures and books, together with a wide range of events.
