Stress has always been a part of our lives; it was never not a part of us. We used to face stress no matter how hard it is so that we can get used to the harsh life we have and to be able to face it well.

We experience stress everyday. In everything we do, there is stress. We have different things that add up to our stress. They are our everyday chores. From work, studies, grades, or even simple daily chores like cooking, sweeping the floor and many others. Stress can make us feel like a balloon that is continuously being filled with water until it explodes.

We can’t continue to ignore stress and take control of us though. Too much stress can damage our bodies that can lead to a lot of complications. While it is part of our life, it is still bad to have too much. Too much is bad after all. Here are some diseases that stress can contribute to:

1. Sleep issues
2. Anxiety
3. Weaker Immune system
4. Cancer
5. Depression
6. Stroke
7. Heart disease
8. Diabetes
9. Weight gain

That’s not all of it though, that’s just a small portion of the diseases stress can develop. So, does that help you decide to reduce stress in your life? Here are some tips in coping with stress:

Take a Vacation from time to time
There are times where we feel overwhelmed by everything that’s happening in our lives. That is a good time to take a vacation. It doesn’t really mean a long time. Even for just 15 minutes of your time, it will help a lot. Treat yourself to a something that you love doing or relax by going to a spa or massage.

Relax your muscles
This means doing Stress relief exercises. This helps relax the muscles and lower blood pressure, heart rate and respiration. There are many free Stress relief exercises on the internet. They require you to listen to an instructional audio to help you relieve those stresses away. Just search for Progressive Muscle Relaxation.
