National Marfan Foundation
A nonprofit organization founded in 1981 by people affected by MARFAN SYNDROME and their families. Its purpose is to provide accurate information about the condition to patients, family members, and health-care providers, provide support to members and patients, and support research. The National Marfan Foundation provides programs of information, awareness, education, service, and research through a variety of projects. It offers pamphlets, booklets, and other materials that explain Marfan syndrome, a medical brochure series targeted to health-care professionals, a quarterly newsletter, and an annual report.
