National Center for Learning Disabilities (NCLD)
A nonprofit organization that seeks to raise public awareness and understanding of learning disabilities, provide information and referrals, and arrange educational programs and legislative advocacy. The National Center for Learning Disabilities (NCLD) provides educational tools to heighten understanding of learning disabilities, including the annual publication called Their World, quarterly newsletters, articles, specific state-bystate resource listings, and videos about learning disabilities. Founded in 1977, the NCLD’s mission is to increase opportunities for all children with learning disabilities to achieve their potential.
