When you see people who are mountain climbing, you might feel excited to try it yourself. It’s because it seems exciting and very interesting. However, you cannot perform such activity if you do not have enough core strength, endurance, tenacity and great cardiovascular health. If you engage in mountain climbing, you’ll be able to burn a lot of calories and develop muscular strength. How would you know if mountain climbing is the ideal weight loss method for you or not?

  • Evaluate your personal fitness. – Before using mountain climbing as your weight loss method, you need to assess your personal fitness level. Do you have strong legs? Do you have a stable back? Do you have a solid core? Is your heart in good shape? If your answer is yes to all of these questions, then you’re good to go as a mountain climber. You need to be in good condition to be able to fight gravity and endure higher altitudes.

Start with hiking steep hills and then you can move on to a small mountain. When progress starts to show, you will start to discover some problem areas that you need to improve on. When this happens, you need to spend some time to work on them and later on excel in what you’re doing.
  • Measure your tenacity level. – A tenacious personality is needed to be able to perform mountain climbing. If you are really interested to make this activity your weight loss method, you must see the greater picture. You need to realize that mountain climbing is a very challenging activity because once you started it, you cannot just end it any time you please. You must have the needed tenacity to complete this task.
