According to Amanda Carlson Phillips, Vice President of Nutrition and Research for Core Performance;”Eating five to six mini meals per day and including a lean protein source such as low-fat cheese, beans, chicken, fish, or peanut butter on every plate is a great way to rev your metabolism and keep you feeling energized and fueled all day long.”

The next thing that you need to do to power up your metabolism is to avoid drinking alcohol, calorific drinks and sodas. It’s because these beverages will make you feel tired, week and bloated. Instead of drinking them, switch to green tea. Phillips relates;”Drinking brewed green tea is an effective way to get EGCG epigallocatechin gallate, an ingredient known to speed up metabolism. Three cups of green tea a day can increase metabolism by up to 10 percent. Using gym machines are also effective means of speeding up your metabolism. According to Angela Corcoran, director of education at the Cybex Research Institute said that hitting the gym machines is good for the health.

She continued;”Fitness machines are good for building lean muscles and will help you to ramp up your metabolism. They can also help to establish healthy fitness habitsand consistency in an exercise program. Ask a trainer at your gym to explain how to use the programs on the equipment and have them suggest a workout routine to help you.” Another great way to boost your metabolism is by stocking up on salmon. Omega-3 which is a powerhouse containing plenty of healthy fats and protein can be found in Salmon. This type of fish is helpful in burning fats and the Omega-3 in it can aid in making your metabolism more efficient. It can also help you avoid unhealthy cravings and it also slows down digestion. If you follow all these tips, there is no reason why weight loss cannot be attained.
