Have you ever heard . . .“Some people can eat all they want and never gain weight.”
Wouldn’t you like to be the lucky person who can eat everything and anything and not gain weight? Metabolism in fact does vary from person to person, but the idea that there are some people who can eat all they want and never gain weight simply is not true. Some people regulate themselves by eating a big meal on occasion, followed by very small meals the next day. Others have an extremely active lifestyle that burns a lot of calories through activity and increased metabolism. Don’t be fooled! Most people who eat a lot and do not gain weight work very hard to keep their weight steady whether they talk about it or not.
