When talking about fitness, some people jump into conclusions like growing huge muscles or lifting heavy weights but no, it’s the wrong idea. Fitness is all about feeling good and energetic. It also means getting the mental and physical energy to be able to cope up with life. I will give out some benefits of being fit.
It helps make you feel happy: Exercise is a good stress reliever. When we are free of stress, that makes us happy. There are so many serious diseases that stress produces. So, when we know that we are not stressed, we feel happy. More to that, when exercising, our body produces endorphins or what some people call as “feel-good” chemical. So, whenever we exercise, we will feel good about ourselves because of that endorphin.
Improves Sleep: Studies show that exercise or being active is an effective way to get rid of insomnia. It is because, exercise tires our muscles and fatigues our muscles but in a good way. In order for this to be effective, exercise 3 or more hours before going to sleep. It is because when we workout, our body temperature rises and produces adrenaline. Adrenaline is a hormone that stimulates the heart-rate, blood vessels and air passages.
Makes us Smarter: There are exercises that helps improves our memory and out thinking ability. Which means it makes us smarter. There are also particular exercises that improves our multitasking skills and concentration. It also helps nourishes our brain. It is because when we are active, the blood flow to the brain increases which helps us feel alert.
