Beauty and its risks
For a woman, beauty has its risks. Lots of women usually go to a nearby salon for a manicure or a pedicure. The price depends on the salon and the level of relaxation. One thing you can never enjoy when having a manicure or a pedicure is the bad smell of glue used in polish remover, acetone, and other artificial nail procedures.
Acetone is known as a chemical solvent that can remove nail polish and is also used as the active chemical in paint thinner. The adhesives used have very strong smell and can cause dizziness especially if the salon is small so there is not enough fresh air moving through the salon. The potent adhesive methyl methacrylate (MMA) can cause serious nail infections and will even have side effects that are irreversible. Prolonged skin contact to these ingredients used to make acrylic nails pose a variety of dangers that includes cancer, birth defects, and mental disorientation.
That is why it is important that we choose wisely what health and beauty products to choose. I understand that our beauty is important but health is more important that is why we should also consider our health when choosing the beauty product to use.
